Opening Day

Time to play ball!  Opening Day is my favorite day of the year.  I know a lot of teams have already played but today is the day my Giants kick off the season which makes it Opening Day for me.

This is my intro into the blogosphere as a poster and contributor.  I have been floating around for the past several months making comments, making friends and making trades.  I believe I am up over 25 trades so far with fellow bloggers this year alone. As a matter of fact, both those Posey Opening Day cards came over from Joe at The Sandlot in a big exchange of Giants for Mets.  Thanks Joe!

I have been slow to start my own blog despite encouragement from several awesome bloggers but decided I finally needed to take the plunge.  My hesitation was due primarily to a lack of creativity on my part - I really enjoy many of the features other sports card bloggers have come up with but I am hoping I can do well enough to draw a few people to my blog.

My primary goals include showing off my collection and making even more trades.  I have a wide variety of interests and tons of cards that don't quite hit the sweet spot of my collection that will be up for trade.  I have some want lists posted up and plan on expanding on those.  I also will be putting a trade bait section up soon - hopefully I will be able to help my fellow bloggers out with their wants and needs.

Happy Opening Day and Go Giants!
