Top 20 Recent Vintage Purchases - #17 1967 Topps Juan Marichal
I think the list takes a big leap forward from this point forward. Only 1 card does not feature a Hall of Famer in the Top 17. Here is the first appearance of 2 for the Dominican Dandy Juan Marichal:
I think this is a beautiful card with the combination of the great scenic background and Juan's big smile. The bright green grass and blue sky are nice on the eyes. This card was an eBay purchase and a need for my 1967 Topps Giants team set. I am hoping seeing a card this nice down at #17 may generate a little excitement for the rest of the countdown, it contains legends galore!
